The testing kit comes complete with simple instructions on how to do the sampling, and our well trained staff is constantly at hand to answer any questions that you may have. How does the DNA Gender Test work?Since only males carry the Y-Chromsome, by identifying the Y-Chromosome within the mother’s blood, we can therefore determine that the mother is carrying a boy. Results of your test will be available in 5-7 working days starting from when the lab receives your samples, and for those of you not wanting to wait, we also offer an Express Testing Option which, for an additional fee of $140, will return your results in only 2 working days. Important note: Our DNA Gender Predictor Test does not replace the function of a medical ultrasound which is required for health reasons and not just for determining the sex of a baby.
