For other DNA test reports, such as Siblings DNA testing, the wording will differ slightly. As you can see, we provide the full DNA profile analysed for each person including the genetic markers, as well as the statistical results of the analysis. We would also also like to highlight the following information : - Through the analysis of the Amelogenin gene (allele), we are able to confirm the sex of the person submitting the sample. See article 'The Amelogenin Gene in DNA Testing' for more information. - Any testing performed using samples other than our oral swabs, including hair or blood samples, do not change the interpretation of the result. Once the DNA is obtained from these type of samples, then the process for analysis and interpretation is the same as for oral swab testing.
