ISO17025 Accredited DNA Testing Laboratory

easyDNA operates through a state-of-the-art genetic testing laboratory specialised in DNA testing and DNA profiling. The laboratory over the years has performed over 250,000 DNA tests and is therefore highly specialised in its field. It is operated by a team of experienced technical staff and is also internationally accredited thereby guaranteeing the quality of the results.

DNA Testing Laboratory – Our Quality

In terms of accreditation, our laboratory has achieved ISO17025 accreditation status - this is the gold standard for DNA testing laboratory. This accrediation is a rigorous quality assurance system that is implemented under very strict guidelines to ensure that the  results are of the highest quality. The auditing of the laboratory is performed by external auditors.

The laboratory is also AABB accredited and participates in the AABB Parentage Testing Accreditation Program which requires a rigourous external quality check to ensure that the tests are being done according to standards and accurately. Laboratories that are properly accredited are re-inspected on a regular basis and have to participate in continuous proficiency testing programmes.

A quality assurance programme has been implemented for our DNA testing, to ensure that all the results issued by easyDNA are accurate and reproducable.
