EasyDNA launches new Dog Allergy test into the dog DNA testing market
International DNA testing company EasyDNA introduces its latest addition to its dog DNA testing services, the Dog Allergy test – a test which identifies a dog’s reaction to different types of allergens.
Elk Grove, USA December 15, 2017 Following growing awareness about the impact of dog allergies on the well-being of the animal plus demand by dog owners for assistance in identifying possible allergies of their dogs, EasyDNA launched a new Dog Allergy test to address this gap in the market.
Commenting on the launch, a company representative stated, “Following on the successful international launch of the Dog DNA Breed test, EasyDNA has now followed this up with another new and very useful DNA test for dog owners. The Dog Allergy test identifies the dog’s immune system reaction to nearly 150 allergens, including different types of foods, household products and so on. Test results provide dog owners with allergy mitigation strategies and dietary and lifestyle guidelines suited to their dog’s needs.”
With reference to the sample collection process, the company confirmed that once a client has ordered, they are sent a self-collection kit which includes simple step-by-step instructions on how the process to collect the DNA sample works. Test results are emailed to the clients within two weeks of the receipt of the samples. The company also recommends waiting until the dog is over six months of age to prevent inaccurate results.
