EasyDNA upgrades its Baby Gender test to the most advanced test of its type on the market
International DNA testing company EasyDNA is offering the most advanced and accurate Baby Gender Prediction Test available to date.
Elk Grove, USA June 6, 2018 – Following developments in the science of prenatal testing, EasyDNA has launched a more advanced and accurate Baby Gender test. The test replaces its old baby gender test which had been launched in 2015.
The main advantage of the new Baby Gender test is mainly at the level of accuracy. The test offers a validated accuracy rate of 98%+ and since it requires collection via medical blood draw it eliminates any chance of DNA contamination, which was one of the main factors in the error rate of the older test since this was performed using a home kit via finger prick. In fact, the upgraded test requires a 7 to 10 ml blood sample as it is processed on the same platform as the fast-growing non-invasive prenatal test for Down’s Syndrome (NIPT).
Testing can start from 10 weeks of pregnancy (8 weeks post conception) and standard results are available in 5 to 8 working days whilst express results in 3 to 5 working days. There is a 2% error rate which is attributed to user error such as taking the test too early or not providing enough blood sample.
