– Through the analysis of the amelogenin gene (allele), we are able to confirm the sex of the person submitting the sample.
– Any DNA testing performed using samples other than our oral swabs, including hair or blood samples, do not change the interpretation of the result. Once the DNA is obtained from these type of samples, then the process for analysis and interpretation is the same as for oral swab testing.
